Fancy Volunteering at your Local Library?

Folks,

I mentioned this on Twitter, anyone interested?

South Dublin Libraries are introducing a new volunteering programme providing opportunities for people to volunteer in a variety of roles within the library service. Sounds like something that would interest you? More info here.

They are trying to fill particular roles, but if you think you have something different to offer why not give them a bell or drop them a line and share your thoughts?

    Hi Ciara,

seems to be a problem with the link to the volunteer programme, getting an access denied message…

  2. Hi Sean,

That page appeared to have been pulled! Best thing to do is to call whichever library would be best for you and get some info on it and the positions they are hoping to fill. All contact details are on http://www.southdublinlibraries.ie

  3. That page says “Access denied” – and the “Contact us” link says the same! Maybe the libraries are running on a need-to-know basis.

  4. No, they’re not… or weren’t anyways! Just call them. Then you can clarify the position for sure 🙂

Too many dangerous books – people might learn something and start to think for themselves…
